Aaron graduated from Concordia College in 1994 with a degree in biology and from Northwestern University in 1996 with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree. He was a physical therapist for 7 years before he joined the financial services industry. He enjoys meeting, working with and helping people and had a desire to build a practice, creating something for himself, so the transition to his current business was a natural fit. Born and raised on a farm, Aaron's core roots and values are evident in the way he communicates with clients. Aaron provides leadership and direction as clients go through the journey of life. His conviction for planning is demonstrated in how he guides his clients to establish goals and stay the course. Stability and confidence is a trademark of what Aaron strives to provide for his clients. Aaron has a heart for people, understanding their needs and goals and creating a well organized and thought out plan. At the end of the day, Aaron cherishes the process of listening to the people he serves, designing their financial journey and building strong longlasting friendships in business and in life.
Aaron has more than ten years of experience providing financial planning and advice to both federal and private sector clients. When Aaron began working with federal employees about ten years ago, he found a real need, as federal employees were desiring to work with a financial professional with familiarity with the federal system, as well as really enjoying to work with this population. From this, Aaron has become motivated to help more federal employees and thus has placed significant emphasis on this area in his practice. Secondary to a desire to serve his clients, Aaron is a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant(ChFEBC). Aaron strongly believes that through solid understanding of the federal system and sound comprehensive planning that he can have a very positive impact on the lives of his clients.
One of Aaron's greatest passions is sports and he also has a strong interest in local, national and world events. Aaron and his wife, Shari, along with their twin boys Kalen and Rylan, live in Sioux Falls where they are active in their church and other charitable organizations, as well as their various hobbies.
